A Study Through Colossians
There are countless voices competing for our attention, loyalty, and trust. Paul’s letter to the Colossians draws our eyes above them all—to Jesus. Colossians gives us one of Scripture’s clearest and most breathtaking portraits of Christ. He is the image of the invisible God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, the Head of the church, the One through whom God reconciles all things to Himself, and the King whose authority stands above every power and dominion.
But Paul does more than tell us who Jesus is. He shows us what happens when the supremacy of Christ begins to reshape a life. If Jesus truly is above all, then His reign reaches into our relationships, our habits, our desires, our priorities, our homes, our work, our prayers, and the way we live before the world. The gospel does not simply give us something new to believe. In Christ, we are brought into a new kingdom and invited into an entirely new way of life.
Throughout this series, we will walk through Colossians together, slowing down to see who Jesus is, what He has done, who we have become in Him, and how His reign changes the way we live. Our hope is that we will do more than understand Colossians. We want to see Jesus more clearly, know Him more deeply, and learn to live with Christ above all. A Study Through Colossians
The Above All Reflection Guide is a six-week companion for our journey through Colossians. The goal is not to complete homework, but to slow down, listen to Scripture, bring your real life before God, and learn to live under the reign of Jesus.
