Going Deeper: Face to Face

Face to Face is an invitation for our church to rediscover Jesus through the lives of those who encountered Him personally. Throughout the Gospels, ordinary and unlikely people come face to face with Christ — carrying shame, questions, pain, hope, doubt, and longing. What they discover is not a distant religious figure, but a Savior who draws near with compassion, speaks truth with love, and transforms lives from the inside out.

The purpose of this series is to help people move from distance to intimacy with Jesus. As we witness how He meets people where they are, loves them as they are, and refuses to leave them there, we prayerfully anticipate that our church will grow in relational connection with Christ — not simply knowing about Him, but truly knowing Him.

This series aligns with our yearly focus to Know Jesus. In a world filled with noise, distraction, and competing allegiances, we are reminded that what unites and forms us is not activity, preference, or background — but a shared relationship with Him.

When people encounter the real Jesus, distance gives way to intimacy and intimacy leads to transformation.

Daily Reflection

Each day we will very simply pray (P.R.A.Y.) ‘P’: PAUSING to be still. ‘R’: REJOICING with a Psalm and REFLECTING on a Scripture. ‘A’: ASKING God to help us. ‘Y’: YEILDING to His will in our lives, come what may. Allow this rhythm to deepen your awareness of God’s presence and guide you to live out His mission in your daily life.
